Thunks for form time

NI Teacher Jobs

No right answer — but you have to defend yours.

A thunk is a short, odd question with no correct answer: the point is the reasoning, not the result. Put one on the board, give the class a minute to decide, then ask two or three pupils to defend what they chose. It works for a five-minute form time, a settling task, or the last few minutes of a lesson that finished early. Press Another when the argument runs dry.
