Tap 1, 2, 5 or 10 minutes, or type a number, and press Start. The digits are sized for a projector, so a timed task, a silent starter or a tidy-up countdown is visible from the back without anyone asking how long is left. Press Project to fill the screen with it. Start becomes Pause while it runs, Reset puts the time back, and a chime marks the end. The stopwatch beside it is for when you are timing rather than counting down.
